Foster Brooks

Foster Golfs!
Let's face it. Sometimes drunks are funny. I have fond memories of sharing a laugh with my family whenever we had the opportunity to see this man on television.

Apparrently Foster had some experience as a drunk, but when he was at his peak of popularity, he was sober.

"I never drew a sober breath from Friday night to Monday. In 1964, I quit. A fellow made me a $10 bet I couldn't quit, and I haven't had a drink since. At the time I needed the $10." - Foster Brooks

I recall the many times we saw him on the Dean Martin Celebrity Roasts, the Mike Douglas Show, the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson , Bob Hope TV Specials, and the Bill Cosby Show.

Bananas Foster Brooks

This is a 1978 record publication by Brandy Pasco titled "Casey at The Bat" recorded by Foster Brooks with a second song titled "Riley on The Mound" composed by Foster Brooks. The flexible vinyl record is a 33 speed.

The folder has all of the words to both songs along with a short autobiography on Foster Brooks, Artwork for the sleeve by Jack Flynn of Minersville, Pa.

I'm sorry I don't own it and I have never heard it. But I do have a few recordings that I am sure you will enjoy. Knock down a couple of drinky poos and have a listen.
