New York Doll - The Movie

I just saw New York Doll - The Movie last night. This is a wonderful story of Arther "Killer Kane" the bass player for the New York Dolls. After 30 years of painful excile, he gets back together with David Johansen and Sylvain Sylvain, the still living members of the legenday New York Dolls to play one last concert in London pulled together by Morrisey.
I won't say much about it here, because anyone who is a fan of good music and kind souls should have a go at this movie.
If you don't know about the New York Dolls, you should, here they are playing just a couple of their songs, all of which could have been pop hits, but weren't for the sole reason that they were before their time.
Bands like Motley Crew, Cinderella, Poison and many more capitalized on what the New York Dolls started, without adding any inovation of their own. And yet they cashed in millions on their cheap immitations of this great band.
"Why is Arthur standing at the back of the stage smoking a joint while Peter is playing bass?"
Because he couldn't play due to his girlfriend had tried to cut his thumb off with a kitchen knife. If you take a close look, you'll see his hand is in plaster.
Stumble It!

Yeah, watched this one with Gale, she really didn't know much about the Dolls, I had played the music for her before, but she didn't really take to it.
Now she has a new appreciation for it.
We're doing well. Thanks.
